The little Valentino is affected by a rare form of asthma that forces him to live among cylinders for oxygen, ampoules, sprays, medicines of all kinds. The existence of Antonia and Renzo it is dramatically disturbed. One day, accidentally, during a trip to the beach, Antonia realizes that her baby does not show more asthma attacks. Hence the decision, courageous and judged risky, to build a boat and live their future aboard the "Hope." Between skepticism and criticism, but also so much solidarity from the community, this strange boat is ready to set sail towards the promise of a new life.
