The Stanger settles in a middle of a forest, in a hut where he was sent, fleeing from something unknown. He doesn't talk too much, even when asked, but never about his past. As a hard-working man, he quickly earns the recognition of the villagers. One day he meets Najda, the forester's dog, and they know straight that they belong together. He opens up to the outside world, his life takes on a new meaning. In the village, whisper says that he mesmerized the dog.
