Synopsis

In an effort to heal her broken heart after breaking up with her boyfriend Fran, Veronika decides to go on their planned trip to Istanbul out of spite. Her friend Kaja joins her on her adventure, and actually it is Kaja's childhood friend Vid who is going to drive them from Zagreb to Istanbul. Vid steals his grandfather's old van "Jaka" and starts an adventure of his lifetime, a road trip across Serbia and Bulgaria all the way to Turkey with Kaja and Veronika. As to get them out of the police bail, the Serbian famous gamer Baka Prase (Granny Pig) and his friend Tony unexpectedly join them. Baka Prase sees the three as his lucky chance to get to Istanbul to finally challenge his online enemy, gamer Mert Efe from Turkey, to a rematch, since Mert Efe has been offline for quite some time now. Veronika, Vid, and Kaja are at first intimidated by Baka Prase, but they soon realize he is a good guy with a soft heart, who is glad to help whenever he can. After their arrival in Turkey, the gang finally relaxes by processing the first impressions of the beautiful city of Istanbul. While they are mesmerized by the scenery and trying to document the first memories, they fail to notice that good old "Jaka" van is sliding into the Bosporus. Despite this accident, the team still decides to continue their adventure and look for Mert Efe. Baka Prase and Mert finally face each other at the Narghile bar. But that moment unexpectedly takes on a quiet tone and everyone is summoned to Mert's apartment. Namely, the month of Ramadan is and it is only after the end of Ramadan that Mert Efe approves the game rematch.While waiting for Ramadan to pass and for Baka's rematch, a spontaneous trip to Istanbul turns into an awesome adventure of tastes, scents, and unique places throughout Istanbul. A bit impatient due to the soon duel, Baka Prase notices that Vid fancies Kaja. In exchange for some love expert advice, Baka expects from Vid to get him in the best shape for the gaming duel.While enjoying Istanbul, Veronika's anger because of the break up fades away and she starts to nostalgically think about her ex-boyfriend Fran. As true friends, the gang decides to cheer Veronika up and surprise her with the cruise on the river Bosporus. As the boat takes off, they suddenly spot Fran running down by the riverside. Seeing Vid wearing his old jacket, Fran gets a completely wrong impression of the situation and attacks him convinced that Vid wants to steal Veronika away from him. Fran finally admits that he has realized he could not imagine his life without Veronika and that he has hitch-hiked all the way to Istanbul just to tell her that. Veronika and Fran get back together.Exploring the streets of Istanbul and the city's panorama, Kaja and Vid finally become closer. They realize that they can become more than just friends. With newly bonded couples to witness their duel and cheer for them, Baka Prase and Mert Efe can finally start their combat after the Ramadan. However, just as the duel was heating up, they lost the Internet connection. The furious Baka Prase tries to confront the electricity line, which leads to a dramatic consequence: the entire city of Istanbul enters a complete blackout. Now the gang needs to explain this misfortunate event at the Croatian consulate. They try to retell the entire adventure to the Consul. After a long talk, they have finally managed to demystify the series of dramatic events that have led to the complete black-out. It was time for them to finally go back home. Bonded by their personal challenges and a shared adventure, new friends say goodbye to each other and part, continuing their own journey.
