After arriving in Punjab and meeting with a school teacher, who comes to teach local area children, she feels a sense of lust towards him. While attending this party, she meets with several key people including a social worker and Lawyer, the businessman, his wife who is unknown to Amber, is also a big name lawyer, and his other brother.
Her Dad, while on his way to pick her up from the party, is seen with a dead body and is accused of the murder. During this same party, Amber becomes involved in a murder inquiry as an eye witness. She is conflicted because earlier she had seen her father with the victim. As a result of several witness statements, including her own, the court sentences her Dad, life imprisonment.
