Ichibi Lendumiso will unpacks different Christian denominations present in South Africa - acknowledging their colonial history and unpacking their inculturation. Each episode is a spiritual journey of discovery of the Christian evolution in South Africa's peri-urban and rural landscapes. It is about all practices within each particular faith and the belief systems that govern the practices. Viewers have an opportunity to experience each denomination's perspective and practices, through the experiences of our presenter, Nomonde Vakalisa, and gain a greater understanding of the inner workings of each of these autonomous branches of the Christian faith. Delivered primarily in Xhosa, a large part of the series will be filmed in the South African province of the Eastern Cape.—Ntokozo Mbuli
