Dr Christine Allison's been convicted of manslaughter, for assisting a suicide. She's struck off the register and serves 18 months in prison. Upon release, she's unable to practise medicine, and has few employment opportunities. She finally does get an offer to care for a troubled woman On arrival, Dr Allison'sshocked to find her employer's Stephen Dane - the barrister who successfully prosecuted her. Christine learns there's secrets in the household, and when someone's killed by an overdose of medication, a terrified Christine realises she's the obvious suspect.—garykmcd
