Bei Er Duo, an ordinary girl with dreams of studying voice acting in Japan, is pressured by her mother to marry a wealthy man. Frustrated by endless blind dates, she joins a reality show to raise money for her studies and help her friend, Tang Li. There, she meets Ye Shu Wei, a genius violin maker from a family of artists, who was forced to join the show after losing a bet.
