A confused, lost young movie starlet finds redemption and her way back to the stage by reconnecting with her long-estranged playwright father.
Sophie Cole-Aguirre, a conflicted Hollywood actress taking some time off from the shallow world of movie-making, escapes to the countryside. Her father, Jonas Cole, a weathered old-school golden era filmmaker, finds her after many years of no connection. His excuse to get closer to her is to offer her the role of Cordelia in what is supposed to be his legacy film; an adaptation of Shakespeare's King Lear.
