Adam's world consists of colleagues (+ wives) and client at an insurance company, a strange teenager, a mentally ill wife, an estranged adult daughter etc.

Adam is the managing director of an insurance company. We meet a number of people in his life: his mentally ill wife, who is admitted to a hospital, the young rent boy who keeps turning up without invitation, the architect of the new head office of the company, Adams house keeper, his colleagues and their wives, the client which isn't satisfied with the payment he is offered in his insurance case, and finally his daughter, which he isn't seeing any more. They all contribute to Adams world, one way or the other.
