Manushak and Vardanik has been unsettled from their homeland during the Russian-Persian war in the early 19th century. In parrallel developments, Russian writer and diplomat Alexander Griboedov has been sent to Teheran to negotiate peace treaty. He also attempts to help the Armenians slated to die. Although Griboedov was brutally killed by the Persian mob, however, the peace treaty prepared by him was enforced by Russian army victory.—Artak
