White Sands is a light crime series about an undercover expert and a homicide detective who are secretly sent to a Danish seaside town to solve the killing of a young German man while pretending to be a married couple.

Helene is a top flight undercover cop from Denmark struggling with the demands of undercover work. Thomas is a top flight German cop mourning the death of his wife from cancer. When the brother of a German politician is murdered in Hvide Sande (White Sands) and the Danish police fail to solve it, she demands a joint undercover investigation with a competent German officer to help the incompetent Danes. Posing as husband and wife, Helene and Thomas along with Molly (Thomas's dog) look to integrate themselves into the town and solve the case.
