Hustle is the story of Kitt, a washed up music diva from the 80's who is forced to flee the city of Johannesburg and take up residence with her estranged sister. to flee a drug lord she owes money to. Kitt dreams of returning to the big stage in a blaze of glory but no one knows who she is anymore and her style of music is irrelevant. She decides to start her own talent management agency and to use young singers and artists from her sisters church to leverage herself back into the industry. But her ego and drug habit sucks everyone around her into a vortex of violence and destruction.—Ben Johnson
