Salah has put in jail in unfair way, in jail he falls in love with Layla.

A massive fire takes place at an old housing settlement owned by a businessman who trades in food products which have gone bad (al-Sharnouby). The same man is behind burning the housing block, his aim in doing so was to remove the buildings so that he could benefit from the value of the land after its tenants have been removed. His lawyer (Abou al-Fotouh) suggests that a poor man is brought in so that he could confess to lighting the fire in exchange for a sum of money, the aim in doing so is to clear al-Sharnouby of suspicion.

Shernoby is a businessman who trades in spoiled food. His greed and tyranny push him to agree with a young man to confess to a crime instead of him and he is sentenced to prison. Behind the prison doors, he meets a prisoner named Faiza in the women's prison. He falls in love with her and they exchange feelings of love through letters. When they are released, they get married and decide to take revenge on that greedy merchant.—waleed elkady
