HS10: The Bronx follows an exceptionally unique public charter high school in the heart of the South Bronx. The school is coming off of a championship football run marred by tragedy after star player Rudolph Chamberlain accidentally critically injures an opposing player (resulting in his eventual death) after a game saving tackle gone wrong. The unfortunate incident has drawn attention to the overall brutality of football and even further, how men like Coach O'Brien with his "old school" coaching mentality are breeding toxic masculinity. The football team is scrapped in favor of soccer, a sport that none of the students respect or know much about. It will take a herculean effort by Coach O'Brien and star player Rudolph Chamberlain to take a rag-tag team of players from different backgrounds and put together a program that will have the city, and country, talking about soccer once again.—Marvin Diaz
