Summaries

This is a somewhat Canadianised version of the NBC counterpart. Film inserts on nature and travel were added and a Canadian forest ranger named Timber Tom replaced Buffalo Bob as emcee.

Howdy Doody was a puppet show which starred him, Howdy Doody, best friend Buffalo Bob and Clarabell the Clown. It was a long-running variety show in the United States for children that was very loved and was also seen in Canada. It came along just in time for all the Baby Boomers and became one of their fondest childhood memories. Later there was a Canadian version with some changed character names which was also a very popular children's program.
