A trio of civilians set out on a perilous quest to rescue a lost soldier amidst a brutal second American civil war.

The year is 1974 and a terrible war wages across the continental United States, claiming the lives of millions and destroying entire swathes of the nation. The state of Texas has seceded from the union and aligned itself with the USSR in an unlikely alliance bent on conquering free America. A civilian girl, Sierra Crenshaw, embarks on a quest to find her missing brother, with the help of veteran Luther and cousin Noah.
