Unsold TV pilot about three young ambitious true crime documentary filmmakers (an Ohio couple and their L.A. friend) recording their amateur sleuth attempts to solve grisly murders in Hollywood for their rising TV show 'Hollyweird.'

Unaired TV pilot co-produced by the legendary horror director Wes Craven for a dark satirical crime thriller mystery comedy series with some horror elements which never got made. The pilot follows Charlie, a young ambitious true crime documentary filmmaker from Worthington, Ohio, his passionate, loving and supportive nubile girlfriend and star, Caril Ann, and their film editor friend Trey. The amateur sleuth trio cruises the streets of Hollywood investigating fresh grisly crimes, all the while filming their investigations and their potential resolution for their promising true crime documentary series called 'Hollyweird.' The trio's latest case involves a mysterious serial killer with the ability to hack their computers, and features a couple of spoofs of famous film scenes. Their plan is to find and capture the killer themselves using their investigative wits and props borrowed from their seductive bisexual female dominatrix friend Lee's BDSM club.
