Socialite and hotelier Clark Tisdale is the son of the former-leading man governor of California and the most powerful studio mogul of the 1950s. Brody Atherton is a new starlet Best Supporting Actress nominee and the daughter of a recently paroled mobster from back east. With their wedding date growing ever closer, her father returns to collect a debt owed by the governor himself. Clark is in with the wrong crowd without a clue. Aided by his A-list half-brother, mob-connected cousin and soon-to-be brother-in-law, he attempts to pay recompense to the erstwhile mob investor ...or figure a way out of it altogether with the help of a narcoleptic hit-man named Vic.
