Stefan is a Polish fighter pilot flying for the RAF in the 306th Division. He meets the attractive Angelica Margaret Hill, whose previous boyfriend was also an RAF pilot and was killed in action. Stefan ends up being shot down twice. The first time, he swims to a buoy and is rescued. The second time he is saved by members of the French resistance. Margaret tries to convince Stefan to take a safe job as a flight instructor, but he can't give up fighting, especially when his friends are getting killed.—ETO History Buff
