Every morning students at Hermitage Elementary present the school's morning announcement in a TV News Show format. From the time the opening video hits the screen until the closing video is finished, the kids run the show. They operate an audio mixer (with wireless mics, condenser mics, and computers), a video mixer (using chroma key effects, multiple cameras and computers), a teleprompter, along with other supporting equipment. Some of the students are directors. They are in charge of making sure that everything happens at the right time on the show. Some students are also in charge of setting up and tearing down the news area everyday. This is truly a student run news show.—Anonymous
