Synopsis

Shayon and his girl Tista come across a novel mobile application called Musafir that grants people's wishes and lets them time-travel. They decide to go back to 2018 to fix their past mistakes. The thing is, they completely forget that in this time, they fancied other people. As a result , the moment they are back to the past, Shayon's old crush Lisa becomes his wife and Tista has to date another guy. Though irritated, they realized that this hell of a mess is just temporary.

Mission focused. Back in 2018, Shayon and Tista met a few intellectuals- Shakyajit, Amitesh, Jyotirmoyi and Koushal- whose hypocrisy and misbehaviour hurt them deeply. But they were unable to voice their grievances in any way. A case of l'esprit de l'escalier. Now, in the revisited past , both Shayon and Tista are ready to call these people out aided by Musafir. The events start happening in a similar way but the outcomes are different. The turning of the tables puts them in seventh heaven.

Coming back to 2021, Shayon finds himself in the soup by having a baby with Lisa. Ratri explains the case. Changing the past has interfered with his present. In order to secure it, Ratri refuses to tamper with the past and decides to travel to the future instead. The year is 2084. Ratri travels to an eco-friendly society of this future world. There, she is served with a cup of genetically modified tea by an android robot waiter. Actor and theatre director Arshik demonstrates her the wonders of invisible computing and resurrection biology. Ratri feels so elated.

During a meet-up at a cutting-edge café, Ratri, Arshik and his co-actor Anrina talk about the drastic changes in entertainment industry. In another café, Ratri meets Ricardo, a scientist. They have a conversation about the future of AI takeover and global warming. Ricardo then takes her to a virtual world where they talk to each other in telepathy. Arshik and Anrina arrange a holographic theatre production titled 'Heaven' as as a special treat to Ratri. Interestingly, the play was written by Amitesh Bardhan back in 2021, and Ratri had the privilege of reading its manuscript prior to its publication. The play is a satirical attack on today's right-wing politics. However, when the play begins, Ratri realizes that it is actually endorsing such ideology. Deeply disappointed with this drastic change, Ratri immediately leaves the theatre.

Returning to 2021 she comes across the news that Amitesh is now batting for the ruling right-wing party and is planning to alter the text accordingly before its official release. Confronting him, she realizes that her encounter with the altered play in the future was, in fact, a glimpse of its true version. The revelation leaves her astounded.
