An elite unit of the Berlin police fights crime using a high-tech prototype helicopter.

Astro-Kommando AK1--a six-member special police unit consisting of commander Hagen Dahlberg, attractive woman inspector Jenny Harland, daredevil pilot Charly Schumann, navigator Stephan Rubelli, mechanic Thorwald, and Dr. Jokostra, a sort of female "Q"--not only fights organised crime in Berlin but is also called in regularly to troublespots where ordinary units can no longer cope.
