During a fishing trip with his business associate, Gerolymos, the affluent businessman, Chrysanthou, meets his fate. Before long, Gerolymos gets married to the deceased's wife. Now, Chrysanthou's son, Alekos, returns to Greece bent on finding answers to his father's mysterious death; but, everyone thinks that he is a bit odd. Filitsa, the young daughter of the company's managing director, flirts with Alekos, following her father's instructions, as Alekos is the sole beneficiary of Chrysanthou's fortune.
