Indian Nationals, Raj Mittal and his beautiful wife, Sapna, reside in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where Raj works for a British firm. Raj plans to accumulate enough money so that he and Sapna can re-locate to the United States, buy their own property and live the good life. In order to make money, he works day and night, leaving Sapna alone, without any company. Sapna usually ends up going shopping on her own or having coffee with some girlfriends (Rita & Ramona). One day Sapna meets with an accident, a kindly passerby, Ajay Rastogi, offers help, even lends her a book. Attracted by Ajay, Sapna meets him again, and soon finds herself getting intimate with him. When Raj hints that he knows something is going on behind his back, Sapna immediately calls off the affair. Raj gets suspicious so much so that he hires a private detective to trail Sapna. Then both Raj's and Sapna's lives are turned upside down when the police find Ajay's dead body, and assign Inspector Rashid and Constable Hassan from Bushera Police Station to investigate his death. Raj knows she was having an affair with Ajay, but protects her from the policemen. Raj and Sapna are getting divorced due to this. Sapna is sorry for what she did and asks Raj to leave for India first, and she will follow 15 days later, so as not to attract police attention.
sometime ago, Sapna is bored with her life, as Raj spends more time with his office friends than with her.She meets Ajay, after she evades a car accident. She is injured and Ajay takes her home for some medication. Ajay is a painter. Ajay charms her with his poetry and his artistic style. Sapna leaves, but Ajay invites her to comeback anytime.Raj wants to move to the US, while Sapna wants to settle down in India. They don't have a sex life as Raj is constantly interrupted by work. Sapna remembers Ajay's invitation. She tries to distract herself in shopping. Eventually Sapna calls Ajay, who asks her to come in for a cup of coffee.Ajay tries his best to seduce Sapna, but she resists. Ajay indicates that Sapna is looking for an affair and hence had come to meet him, which offends her. Sapna leaves
A few days later, Ajay meets Sapna at the mall and says that he was waiting for her everyday. He promises to behave and invites her back to his apartment. the flirting continues. Ajay takes her to the bedroom, at first Sapna resists but ens up having sex with Ajay.With this encounter, Sapna starts visiting Ajay regularly and they have sex together several times. One day they have lunch and one of Raj's colleagues sees them together.
Raj notices that SApna dresses well and is out of the house all the time, during the day, when he is not at home. Raj wants to have lunch and Sapna was meeting Ajay, so she lies that she had a salon appointment. Raj checks it out and finds that she had no salon appointment. The colleague then tells Raj that Sapna is having an affair with someone. Raj hires a detective Dilawar to track Sapna and take pictures as proof.Raj leaves for a business trip for 3 days, giving ample opportunity to Sapna to hook up with Ajay. Sapna promptly goes to Ajay and they go to a resort for their time together. They spend 3 days together intimately. The detective tracks them and takes their pics.
Dilawar tells Raj where they are staying, and incidentally Raj is staying at the same resort. When Raj goes to their room, they had already checked out. Raj returns to Dubai and Dilawar gives him the pics of Ajay and Sapna together. He is heartbroken and enraged.A few days later, Sapna cant find Ajay at his apartment. She finds Ajay in a pool with another girl. She confronts Ahay, who berates her and says he is not her husband.Raj confronts Ajay, who says that he didn't force Sapna and she came to him of her own free will. Raj sees that Ajay has painted a nude portrait of Sapna. Raj also finds a statue that he gifted to Sapna, in Ajay's apartment. Raj strikes Ajay on the head with the statue and he falls dead.While Raj figure out what to do, Sapna calls and leaves a message that she is breaking up with Ajay and that she loves Raj. Raj wipes off his fingerprints all over the apartment, wraps Ajay's body in a carpet and puts it in his car's boot. Later, in the middle of the night, Raj throws Ajay's body in the ocean.
Back to the present day. Sapna finds that statue she gifted to Ajay in her house and realizes that Raj killed Ajay. Raj admits that he killed Ajay. Sapna blames Raj for her affair, but Raj wants a divorce and he wants to go to US to reset his career.Rashid and Hassan track Raj as he buys his ticket to Mumbai as per the plan with SApna. They stop Raj from leaving Dubai, but Sapna talks to the policemen and they leave Raj alone. she tells Raj that she explained to them that Raj had nothing to do with the case of Ajay's death.
Once Raj leaves for the airport, Sapna decides to surrender herself to the police. Raj finds a letter in his bag at the airport, from Sapna, which states her intentions to surrender. Raj rushes to the police station and takes Sapna away before she can be arrested. Raj takes Sapna to the airport to leave Dubai together. Rashid and Hassan reach the airport and attempt to stop them from leaving. Before they can be arrested, the couple manage to board their flight and escape.
