"Harmonica-Taiyo" is the sequel to the short film "Nishikan", produced and released in 2016 as a joint public-private project by Nishikan-Ward office, Niigata City and Musashino Art University. Spent one year for shooting, the film itself is a sequel of 4 seasonal short stories about a family which depicts the beautiful scenery and the family value. By featuring the actual sake brewery and the rice farmers in the story, it added the documentary taste into the fictional reality drama in order to promote not just the place itself but also the heart of the local people.
