Following the divorce of her parents, her mother's suicide attempt, and the rumors of an affair with her teacher, a lonely 7th grader starts skipping school in an attempt to find herself.
The seventh grade schoolgirl's parents divorced, her father left her mortal coil, her mother is suicidal and her class-mates gossip about her having an affair with their teacher. She has lost hope and is delinquent. She begins to skip school with a couple of confidants and begins to plan her life from the streets.—aghaemi
13-year-old Sachiko (Aoi Miyazaki) is about to encounter the most difficult moments in her young life. Her father abandons her and her mother. Her mother (Ryo) attempts to commit suicide by slashing her wrist. Her teacher (Seiichi Tanabe), whom she relies on heavily, leaves for northern Japan to take another job. Other students start to gossip about Sachiko and her former teacher. Sachiko then drops out of school and attempts to find herself.
