Harbor High students Charlie, Hailey, Lamar, Damian, Blake navigate relationships, football, family issues. Coach Michelle Gibson faces challenges as first female varsity coach. Their personal struggles become public complicating matters.

Charlie Fuller is entering his Junior year at Harbor High School and with a new year comes new problems. His feelings towards childhood best friend Hailey Gibson becomes a major focal point. He is the new varsity quarterback with his friend, transfer student Lamar Stevens, who not only brought his talent but a bag of skeletons from Georgia. Charlie must contend with family issues alongside his cousin Damian Butler. He has to deal with the antics from friend Blake Montgomery, and to top it all off, he's the subject of a school article written by Britney Harrington. Coach Michelle Gibson is also in uncharted territory becoming the first women's varsity football coach in Harbor High School history. For these seven life has become harder as demons, once private, become public and hard to manage.
