In the near future, the market release of "Next", a failed Corona treatment drug, has caused a new worldwide pandemic known as "Rita". Those infected by Rita experience bouts of insanity and bloodlust, before regressing into a zombie-like state. When an apartment complex becomes quarantined by the Military, its poor, lower-floor tenants and the wealthy, high-floor tenants come to clash as they struggle to survive the indefinite quarantine, all the while a newlywed police officer couple try to keep each other safe amidst the conflict.
