In the documentary, Hands on Farms we visit ten certified organic farms in Ontario ranging from orchards to cattle ventures. We meet the farmers who put their hearts into producing fresh food. The film demonstrates how organic farming methods offer an opportunity to revive the family farm, preserve plant and wildlife biodiversity as well as soil quality on agricultural lands. Organic farmers promote rural communities and urban markets.
