Sawako's scrapbook details her teenage fascination with older men. At 20, still home, relationship with former co-worker Mori triggers sexual, emotional awakening and newfound self-assurance.

Sawako enjoys taking pictures of her uncle and collecting them. The men she has dated so far have always been older than her, but she has been unable to speak well with her father, and things have been awkward.
