It is early summer and a boyfriend and girlfriend commit suicide in a field of flowers. He survives. The girlfriend has a younger sister whose name is Natsuko who cannot understand why her sister killed herself. She leaves school and her hometown, moves to Tokyo and meets the man to find answers. He works as a scout for a television station by day and at a denim store at night. He has moved on. Natsuko is angry.
