It is the first suspense series (genre : Detective) broadcast on Sveriges Television (SVT) in six episodes of 45 minutes each, in November and December of 1962. Subsequently edited to eight episodes for broadcast on SVT Kanal 1 in 1993, it was released to the Open Archive in 2013. This is a Swedish remake based on The Scarf, the British original from 1959 (script : Francis Durbridge). The English script was translated to Swedish by Ulla Berthel and Börje Lindell. The Swedish version retains the English setting.
