A crafty, Harlem Renaissance era time traveler on the verge of losing her 1920s 'Cotton Club,' is forced to visit modern day NYC. She has to convince her talented but struggling, hip hop dancing niece to come to 1920s Harlem and headline her new show to save her from losing everything. They need each other but 100 years separates them and it takes a powerful but ancient ring to bring them together.
