Set in 2058, the series follows Julie Dover, a detective in the Virtual Reality Crimes Unit, investigating the first real-life murder to take place within virtual reality.

In the not too distant future technology has evolved as expected , with humans all implanted with the V.I system allowing us to not only see the virtual world but enter it and interact with it. The lasted update to the V.I system is 'Touch' which will make virtual reality ACTUAL reality.
