Huck is an ever-cheerful boy who loves being outdoors and never wears shoes, but his adoptive mother is constantly trying to tame him.

An adaptation of the novel "Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" (1884) by Mark Twain. The formerly homeless boy Huckleberry Finn has been adopted by the Widow Douglas. He finds her to be a particularly controlling parent as she aims to "civilize" him. Meanwhile, Finn's abusive biological father is trying to kidnap him. Huck wants to reclaim his freedom, so he teams-up with the runaway slave Jim in a journey away from either of both parents.—Dimos I
