In 1984, students demonstrated against the destruction of a river-forrest in Austria where a water-power plant shall be constructed. One of the demonstrating students, beautiful Veronika, falls in love with one of the policemen they are confronted with. Their intense love affair doesn't last long and is abruptly ended, as her jealous boyfriend gives her wrong information about the policeman. 17 years later, the daughter of Veronika, Carina, attends an open air concert with her boyfriend. The concert is ended by the police, and they drive home in her mothers car. On their way, they have an accident and are brought to the police-station and hospital respectively.—<[email protected]>
