In the most ambitious engineering project he's ever taken part in, Guy helps to recover a crashed WW2 Lancaster Bomber and the remains of its missing crew members.

Guy Martin is back to our TV screens but not for any personal or brave challenges. This time Guy has traveled to the Netherlands to report on a remarkable salvage operation for a long lost WW2 British bomber. The Lancaster 'ED603' and its crew, members of the 'Pathfinders Force', went down in Lake IJsselmeer on the 13th June 1943 on it's return from a bombing mission over Germany. Now 80 years later and the Dutch government with it's 'National Aircraft Recovery Programme', work to find and lay to rest the fallen allied servicemen who made the ultimate sacrifice, have located this particular plane. With Guy's help, he joins an ambitious bid to lift the remains of a lost Lancaster bomber and its missing crew, off the bottom of a Dutch lake.
