Wade Griffin quits the police force after three decades to become a private eye.

Wade Griffin was a veteran of thirty years on the Los Angeles police force--many of those as a captain--who retired to open his own private investigation agency. He worked out of the Westwood area of L.A., and hired young and virile Mike Murdoch as his legman.
