Cardiologist Natalya works in a private clinic, her husband Vyacheslav owns a not very successful travel agency, dreams of opening a hotel and, secretly from his wife, is having an affair with an employee of the city hall. Vyacheslav organizes a country tour for a potential sponsor, who suffers a heart attack during the trip. Natalya saves his life. An employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Dmitriy, helps her get to the scene of the incident, who, even after the meeting, continues to help Natalya solve problems in the clinic and family troubles, becoming a true friend. After a series of unpleasant situations in Natalya's life, Dmitriy confesses his feelings to her, offers to leave and start a new life together. Natalya resolutely refuses to show Dmitriy feelings, since she is married and cannot give up her principles. However, Natalya soon realizes that Dmitriy's feelings are mutual.
