What once started as a subversive website (www.greenwashersconsulting.com) has transformed into a feature documentary. Greenwashers engages the public through performances examining the complex issues surrounding the practice of greenwash.

Misleading consumers regarding the environmental benefits of a product or business has become a new marketing standard; Greenwashers takes this business practice to the extreme. Performing artists Alex Maxwell and Vivian Elm pose as representatives for the fictional company Greenwashers Consulting and speak at conferences and trade shows across the United States. Using satire to present a multitude of services, Greenwashers confronts the public and business worlds and pushes the bounds of moral acceptability.
