A young foreigner's quest to obtain an ever-elusive green card fuels this romantic comedy drama from first-time writer/director Bala Rajasekharuni. Intentionally overstaying his visa in order to seek out a green card that will permit him to remain in the U.S., the naïve youngster finds himself wading through a sordid underworld of illegal immigrants and immigration lawyers while attempting to elude the ever-persistent INS.
