Gran & Me is a portrait of my relationship with my aging grandmother. It follows four seasonal encounters with my gran, Joy Bell, over the period of one year. Familiar warmth in family relationships and often-amusing generational distinctions are observed by way of ritualistic meetings over cups of tea. Utilizing video and still photography I capture these quiet moments, calling attention to the significance and poignancy of what would normally be considered banal or everyday.—Anonymous
