The action of the new tape takes place against the backdrop of the collapse of the USSR. Border guard officer Anton Pekarsky, having gone through the war in Afghanistan and having served ten years on the border in Central Asia, becomes unnecessary for the disintegrating state and returns to his native Belarus. However, the knowledge and loyalty to the duty of an experienced border guard are in demand in the homeland, where new national border guard services are being created.
