Follows four friends in 't Gooi, a Dutch region where rich people live. Anouk, Willemijn, and Claire were born there, but Cheryl moved there from Amsterdam when she married Dutch singer Martin Morero. Anouk is an artist who specializes in erotic art. Willemijn is married to Evert and they have children but a reserved and sexless marriage. Claire is a lawyer married to Anton; they have a 15-year-old daughter, Merel.
