Synopsis

Cory Burns was a shy, humble and celebrated comic book artist who, even as an adult, resided in the home he was raised in. He didn't have many friends growing up but the few he did have were very dear. These people were such an influential part of his life that he made their childhood the subject of his work. But last week Cory lost his long battle with cancer and now everyone is coming home to say good-bye.

Lewis, a newly anointed priest who was Cory's closest friend. Lewis' sister, Lacey, a therapist who's worked very hard at keeping her prickly demeanor at bay. Her lovable jerk of an ex, Ricky, who is now an alcoholic, washed up jazz musician. Best girl friends, Pepper and Darcie, who, as it turns out, are now in a tumultuous relationship that they've taken to the next level. Benjamin, a blocked writer who was always the groups voice of reason. Penn, the local ladies man who has clean up his act quite a bit in recent years. And Cindy, Cory's little sister who no one has heard from since she ran away from home when they were teenagers.

Over the course of four trying days these eight estranged friends will reunite for the first time in years and attempt to reconnect, reestablish and rekindle their friendship with varying results that range from heartbreaking to hilarious. All while bidding a fond farewell to the one person that connected them in the first place.
