A lusty sea adventure built around a treasure search, sinking ships, mutineers, a love triangle and South Sea savages. The hero, Jack Cameron, overcomes all the obstacles and wins the fair maiden.

Jack Cameron takes charge of a ship that is sailing for the South Seas in search of a buried treasure. The ship is owned by Dr. Anson, whose daughter, Mary, and her fiancé, Corwin Carson, accompany him on the voyage. After a disagreement with Jack, Carson takes command of the ship, but when the crew hears about the buried treasure, there is a mutiny and the ship sinks. Jack displays his courage by getting Mary and Carson ashore on a raft, protecting them from savages, and trapping the mutineers in a cave. The treasure is found, and Jack, who now has the full admiration of Mary, asks her to be his wife.—AFI
