Yamato Hino is transported to a magical world to defend it. Unbeknownst to him, he's the only person that can bring the lands stone God Mazinger, to life. He does, and becomes the lands only hope against the evil ruler Dorado.

Yamato Hino is an ordinary jock teenager, until he starts experiencing strange calls from another dimension. During a thunderstorm, Yamato is teleported to the parallel world of Mu. The local kingdom is under attack and its royal family was trying to find a way to awaken the giant statue of the god Mazinger to defend them. Since Yamato is the only one able to control the statue, he was teleported there by divine intervention. Yamato has to protect his new habitat and the newly crowned Queen Aira Mu.—Dimos I
