Summaries

Dr. Charles Grayson, a respected surgeon, retires and starts to give away large portions of his savings to religious causes. His immediate family launches a suit against him, declaring him incapable of handing his money. He is brought to trial and a niece, Frances Denning, acts as his defense partner. Her witnesses - some former patients - persuade the judge that since the surgeon believes his skills and success came as a result of divine intervention, he has the right to donate his money as he sees fit.—Les Adams <[email protected]>
