Former judge Mehta (Sohrab Modi) lives with his son Suresh (Feroz Khan) and daughter-in-law Ranjana (Nirupa Roy). When Suresh dies in an accident, a michievious neighbour (Madan Puri) spreads rumours about the judge living in sin with Ranjana. Ranjana decides that Mehta should re-marry in order to silence the slanders and her younger sister Shobha (Kumkum) comes to the rescue.—[email protected]
