Dorothy - a little Kansas girl reads a magical book and is spirited away into the Magical Land by Wicked Witch Gingema. She experiences many adventures trying to go back home to her family.

"Geltonu plytu kelias" is a musical movie based on Lithuanian play "A Wizard of Emerald City", which in turn was based on F. L. Baum's novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz". Dorothy reads an incantation from a magical book and by the magic of Wicked Witch is transferred to Magical Land. there she is told that the only way for her to return home is to help fulfill the greatest desires of three beings, who turn out to be Straw Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion. They all go to Emerald City, where the Great Wizard lives and is said to be able to fulfill any wish.—michkp
